The faculty was co-organiser of this expert meeting, which brought together more than 80 international participants and was co-directed by Dr Baró himself.

The lecturer Bermejo presented the paper “The new panorama of Roman history in Spanish theatre at the end of the 17th century”, which focused on the study of the treatment of the classical history of Rome as a dramatic subject during the last quarter of the seventeenth century. “We analysed how there is an ideological shift in the conception of this Roman history in two works: El Segundo Escipión (1676), by Pedro Calderón de la Barca, and Lo esclavo en grillos de oro (1692), by Francisco Bances Candamo”, explains the expert.
During their visit to the country, the two professors were also able to meet with the dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of the University of Tirana and her counterpart from the University of Ankara (Turkey).
