Montserrat Nebrera and Tetiana Klymchuk participate in the Second Employability Forum in Chile
The lecturers analysed the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in business during the Second Employability Forum: The great organisational challenge, held in Santiago de Chile
Montserrat Nebrera and Tetiana Klymchuk, lecturers for the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, respectively, participated in the Second Employability Forum organised by the Autonomous University of Chile on 15 and 16 November. The conference brought together experts from all over the world who discussed the relationship of artificial intelligence with the business world.
Montserrat Nebrera, academic and Law expert, spoke on “Ethics and limits of privacy in a digital world,” in which she discussed the ease of privacy loss and often the deception provided by this tool. In her presentation, Nebrera stressed the urgent need for regulation of use: “The European Union and the regulations are taking too long to keep up with speed of AI,” the lawyer said.
Tetiana Klymchuk, economist and mathematician, gave a detailed overview of the current revolution that exists with the use of ChatGPT. In her presentation “Generative AI: Chat GPT now listens and sees!” she specified the precautions that are needed with this generative artificial intelligence capable of creating new ideas and content, such as conversations, stories and images by merely giving it simple commands.
Some 200 senior executives from international companies, researchers and academics from 41 different countries participated in the Forum to discuss trends and the main challenges that AI brings.
