Nick Pronger, from Birkbeck University of London, visits UIC Barcelona

The BSc in Marketing director at Birkbeck University of London, Nick Pronger, has met with the Board of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences, coordinators and students of the double bachelor’s degree programmes being offered jointly to strengthen relationships and explore new avenues of cooperation.

Nick Pronger, senior professor at Birkbeck University of London, and head of the BSc in Marketing, visited UIC Barcelona to meet with the Board of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences and the organisers of the three double bachelor’s degree programmes that the institutions offer jointly.

UIC Barcelona and Birkbeck University of London signed an agreement in 2018 through which they offer the double bachelor’s degree programmes in Business Administration and Management (ADE)+Financial Economics, ADE+Economics and ADE+Marketing, which receive 25% of the first-year students entering ADE in the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences.

On his first day, Pronger met with the Faculty Board, the coordinators of the three double bachelor’s degrees, the International Relations team and the first- and second-year students enrolled in the programmes offered by the prestigious London institution.

Subsequently, he met with the third-year students who will travel to London next year to finish their studies and obtain a bachelor’s degree in Financial Economics, Economics or Marketing.

Once the meeting on the Barcelona Campus concluded, Pronger visited the Saló de l'Ensenyament [Education Fair] to promote and make future university students aware of the opportunities offered by these double bachelor’s degree programmes.

Since 2018, UIC Barcelona and Birkbeck University of London have been developing different programmes that generate synergies for students from both institutions, allowing them to complete their studies in London or in Barcelona.
