The event's aim is to expose final-year students in the UIC Bachelor’s Degree Programme in Nursing to the world of professional healthcare and equip them with strategies to gain access to that world and find jobs.

The following centres were represented at the event: Hospital Sociosanitari Pere Virgili, IDC Hospitals, the Terrassa Healthcare Consortium, Mútua de Terrassa, primary-care centres managed by the Catalan Healthcare Institute (ICS), the Catalan Institute of Oncology, Hospital de Granollers, the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and Parc Taulí Sabadell-Hospital Universitari.

Xavier Corbella, the Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, gave the lecture “Redefining Nursing Roles in the Era of Budget Cuts and Staff Reductions”.
