The president of the National Conference of Deans of Faculties of Physiotherapy, Noelia Moreno, is patron of the graduation of the Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy

Moreno highlighted the vocation of service that defines a profession that ensures the well-being and health of people, in the ceremony that took place in the Aula Magna of the University 

On the 14 June, the 12th graduation of the Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy took place in a ceremony chaired by Daniel Romero, director of the Department of Physiotherapy. The president of the National Conference of Deans of Faculties of Physiotherapy, Noelia Moreno, was patron of the graduating students.

In her speech, Moreno stressed that “all graduates in Physiotherapy are united by the passion to dedicate ourselves to helping others, a life goal full of generosity and courage.” She encouraged young people never to lose these values that are fundamental in a profession dedicated to ensuring the health and well-being of people.

The ceremony continued with the placing of the sashes and the awarding of diplomas to graduates, as well as the presenting of the Extraordinary Final Degree Award in Physiotherapy of the class of 2024 to the student Mariona Soteras Chenoll, in recognition of her excellent academic performance. Two class representatives then dedicated some emotional words to family, friends and teachers who accompanied them on such a meaningful day. Lecturer Jacobo Rodríguez, the sponsor chosen by the students, congratulated the new colleagues acknowledging the effort and dedication made during their bachelor’s degree.

The director of the Department of Physiotherapy, Daniel Romero, closed the event by highlighting the personal and academic evolution experienced by the new graduates throughout their training. Romero also reminded alumni that new realities and challenges in the profession of physiotherapists are opening up to them, such as technological changes, a greater relevance of active therapies, or the importance of interprofessionalism, which they will have to incorporate from a perspective of nonconformism and creativity.
