Three UIC Barcelona students awarded a grant to participate in the Summer Sessions in Berkeley, California
Students Irina Schürer and Fernanda Padilla from the Psychology faculty, and Noemí de Navasqüés from Dentistry are the beneficiaries of the three grants offered by UIC Barcelona to study at the 2024 Summer Sessions of UC Berkeley in the United States
Of the 17 applications submitted in this year’s call, three have been selected from UIC Barcelona; two bachelor’s degree students of Psychology and one bachelor’s degree student of Dentistry. The selected students have been awarded € 2,000 by UIC Barcelona and will be able to take various subjects at the University of California, Berkeley, during a period of between three and six weeks during the summer.
The UIC Barcelona programme that awards the Berkeley grants has a competitive selection process that takes into account the academic record of the candidate, as well as the personal interview performed by each applicant.
These students will have the opportunity to complete an international stay in Berkeley, one of the world’s top-ranked universities.
UIC Barcelona has an agreement with this renowned institution that allows students to validate their degree at the University. This agreement benefits students from the faculties of Humanities, Law, Dentistry, Educational Sciences, Bioengineering, Communication, the School of Architecture, Medicine and Health Sciences and Social and Economic Sciences.
