UIC Barcelona leads the transparency ranking of private universities for the third year in a row
Once again, Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC Barcelona) is in the group of transparent universities among the 26 Spanish private universities, according to the transparency report published on the Haz Foundation's website. It tops this transparency ranking together with the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya
In the 2024 transparency analysis carried out by the Fundación HAZ, UIC Barcelona obtained the maximum score of 56 points, which corresponds to 100% compliance with the 28 indicators that evaluate voluntary transparency on the website of private universities, making it visible and accessible to all stakeholders in a complete and updated manner.
These results mean that the University maintains the university transparency stamp in the T for Transparent *** category, which is awarded to those institutions that have obtained between 90% and 100% compliance with the indicators.
UIC Barcelona has maintained the same levels of transparency for the last three years, complying in this edition with the three new indicators corresponding to the new area of Ethics and Compliance (Code of Ethics, Responsible and Ethical Channel).
Since 2019, Universitat Internacional de Catalunya has made continuous progress in its performance, reaching the highest score in the last three editions of the report. In 2019, it obtained 30 points, certifying it as “translucent”; in 2020, it earned 41 points, placing it in the “transparent” university category. In this latest edition, as in the last three editions, the UIC Barcelona has maintained its top score, with 100% of the indicators being met.
The UIC Barcelona Statistical Data and Rankings Office aims to measure the performance of the different dimensions that make up the University through data and evidence, making it visible both nationally and internationally through the social impact produced by the rankings and listings.
