UIC Offers Summer Courses in Architecture, Education, Health and Family Studies

This summer the UIC will be offering over a dozen summer courses in several different disciplines which will be held from the last week in June through mid-July. As in past years, the course offerings have been published in the Vives University Network Summer Course Guide.

The Faculty of Education has proposed courses in art
therapy, improving communication with the body and the voice, and controlling
work-related stress. The Institute of Advanced Family Studies (IESF) is
offering courses in leadership in social organizations and family policies. In
the area of health, there are some interesting courses being offered, such as
simulation training in pregnancy, birth and the postpartum period as well as a
course in offering moral support for pain, dying and death. For those
interested in architecture, a course in urban scenography is being offered.

The courses are part of the
Summer Course Guide published each year by the Vives University Network. The
guide includes the course offerings for the twenty-one universities that make
up the network, as well as other organizations connected to them. This year’s
guide includes a total of 671 courses that will be held in 78 towns in the
regions where Catalan is spoken. An estimated 25,000 people are expected to
enrol in the courses.
