Organised by: Rafiki Projects For Development is a Tanzanian non-profit organisation that works in the Arumeru district of Arusha, northern Tanzania. The organisation is dedicated to encouraging development in different communities and reducing social inequality through educational and health projects.
Objective: Educational programme: Organising and running workshops and activities for children with special needs. Social programme: At the Social Centre, volunteers collaborate towards organising workshops based on their experience and training. Care programme for elderly people who have trouble meeting their basic needs (food, water, access to sanitation). Dates: A minimum of three weeks at some point during the months of June, July and August.
Estimated cost: €15/day, which includes meals and accommodation (flights, visa, local transport, vaccines and travel insurance not included).
