UIC Social Day is coming to campus once again. A perfect day to feel how rewarding it is to share our time with vulnerable people around us in need. A day to discover how to help others throughout the year.

How do you want to give to others this year?

There are a thousand ways to improve the lives of others. Here are just six:

MISSION “BREAKFAST FOR EVERYONE”

MISSION “BREAKFAST FOR EVERYONE”
We will prepare a very special breakfast for homeless people. Want to join us?

LOCATION: Barcelona Campus and Sant Cugat Campus.

TIME: 9.45 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

  • Diocesan Cáritas of Terrassa.

MISSION “CHRISTMAS GREETINGS”

MISSION “CHRISTMAS GREETINGS”
Come and enjoy the wisdom of older people and write Christmas postcards to them full of good wishes.

LOCATION: Barcelona Campus and Sant Cugat Campus.

TIME: 9.45 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

COOPERATING ENTITIES: 

  • Aste BCN (in Barcelona) 
  • Mira-Sol nursing home (in Sant Cugat).

MISSION “PREPARING FOR ADVENT”
Help us prepare advent calendars with people with functional diversity.

LOCATION: Barcelona Campus and Sant Cugat Campus.

TIME: 9.45 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

MISSION “SOLIDARITY SOUNDS GREAT”

MISSION “SOLIDARITY SOUNDS GREAT”
With music, solidarity sounds even better. Come and play it or just enjoy it.

LOCATION: Barcelona Campus and Sant Cugat Campus

TIME: 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

PARTICIPATION: 

  • Anyone who loves music, including yourself, if you are interested.

MISSION “PLAY And WIN”
Share time with young people with intellectual disabilities, playing the only games where everyone is a winner.

LOCATION: Barcelona Campus and Sant Cugat Campus

HOURS: 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m.

MISSION “MOTHER’S SWEETNESS”

MISSION “MOTHER’S SWEETNESS”
Come and make candy bracelets for mothers who need some sweetness.

LOCATION: Barcelona Campus and Sant Cugat Campus

TIME: 9:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

COOPERATING ENTITIES: 

  • Casa Guadalupe (Sant Cugat)
  • Hogar de María (Barcelona)
     

Solidarity throughout the year

If you participate in UIC Social Day and you enjoy the experience and want to continue helping others during the year, the Solidarity team will be happy to explain how to become a UIC Barcelona Social doer.

In addition, you will discover the true value of the Solidarity Credit that you can add to your academic record.
