Montserrat Gas: “Companies play a crucial role in caring for families”
The director of the Institute for Advanced Family Studies (IESF) at UIC Barcelona participated in the presentation of the VII Guía de buenas prácticas [Seventh Good Practices Guide]. Gas participated as the author of the prologue and Lecturer Marc Grau authored one of the chapters. The publication is promoted by the Centre for Work-Family Balance (CONFyE) of the IAE Business School

The University reaffirms its commitment to sustainability with the installation of solar panels on the Campus Barcelona
UIC Barcelona remains firmly committed to sustainability and energy savings to face the climate crisis. To this end, 293 photovoltaic solar modules have recently been installed on the roofs of both buildings on the Barcelona Campus. Installation is expected to mean energy savings between 12% and 15% and a decrease in UIC Barcelona's carbon footprint

Students of the degrees in Bioengineering and Medicine have won the first prizes of the two categories of this second edition of the conference that centred on SDGs 3 and 13: the promotion of health and climate action, respectively
